Solution: We know that the volume V of a right circular cone is given by

                        V=frac13 imes (Area of the base ) imes Height

Here ,             Area of the base = 314 cm^2  and Height =15 cm

herefore                V=frac13 imes 314 imes 15cm^3=1570cm^3
