Solution :  Let the breadth of the tank be b meters .

We have ,

       v = capacity of the tank =50,000 litres = 50000/1000 m^3 = 50m^3             left ( ecause 1000 litres=1 m^3
ight )

We have ,

                 l = length of the tank = 2.5 metres ,  h = height of the tank = 10 metres

	herefore                   Breadth=      fracvolume length imes Height     Rightarrow b= fracvl	imes h=frac502.5	imes10=2 metres

   Hence , the breadth of the tank is 2 metres.
