Answers (1)

Assume first train and second train runs at 7x, 8x km/ hr speed respectively.

Speed of the second train (8x) = 400/4 = 100 km/hr

8x  = 100

x = 12.5 km/hr

Hence speed of the first train (7x) = 7(12.5) = 87.5 km/hr
