The sum of the digits of a two digit number is 9. The number obtained by reversing the digits is 9 less than the original number. find the number. ​

Assume two digit number is ab.

ATQ

a + b = 9 ...(i)

10 a + b - 10 b - a = 9

9a - 9b =9

a - b = 1...(ii)

Equation (i) + Equation (ii)

a + b + a -b = 9+1

2a = 10  => a =5

b = 4

Hence the original number is 54.
