Two towns are 780 km apart. two super fast trains leave from both the towns at 3p.m toward each other at speeds of 120 km/h and 140 km/h. at what will they pass each other?

 Solution:   Let the time taken be x hrs 

during this period  Train  A would cover  x*120 km

during this period train B  would cover   x*140 km

Then ,

  ⇒  x*120 + x*140 = 780  

⇒   x = 3

They will meet at 6 pm.  Ans
