SF6 - sulfur hexa floride has six sulfur - floride single bonds.  Sulfur is situated at the center and 6 florine atoms are equally distributed in space in octahedral shape. There are 4 flourine atom in a plane and one sulphur atom, hence in total there are 5 atoms belonging to one plane
