If the polarising angle of incidence is, \theta and the refractive index is, \mu

Then, they are related by

            \tan \theta =\mu

            \tan 60^{\circ}=\frac{1}{\sqrt{3}}=\mu

We also know that, \mu =\frac{c}{\nu }

Where 'c ' is the speed of light and

             '\nu ' is the speed of light in the medium

            \frac{c}{\nu }=\frac{1}{\sqrt{3}}

           \nu ={c}{\sqrt{3}}={3\times 10^{8}m/s}{\sqrt{3}}

Which is greater than the speed of light.
