Unitary method is a way to find the value of single unit and multiply it by required value then.
For example : The cost of 5 kg of salt is 50 rs the find the cost of 6kg salt.
Cost of 5 kg of salt = 50 rs.
Cost of 1 kg of salt =50/5=10 rs
so, the cost of 6 kg salt = 6*10=60 rs
