The Brewster angle $(\theta _{p})$ is given , $60^{\circ}$.

The Brewster law states that the tangent of the polarizing angle of incident of a transparent medium is equal to the refractive index of the medium.

$\theta _{p}=$ Brewster's angle

$\tan \theta _{p}=\mu$

$\because \tan 60^{\circ}={\mu}$

$\mu =\sqrt{3}$,

Assuming the rarer medium as air.

Hence, the refractive index of the denser medium is $\sqrt{3}$.
