Most effective in the coagulation of gold solution is K4[Fe(CN)6
It must be K4[Fe(CN)6]. Because 1 mole of this produces 4 K+ ions in solution. Although Mg2+ ion has more coagulating power than K+ ion, still in this case, 1 mole of MgCl2 can produce only one mole of Mg2+ ion, which has less magnitude of +ve charges than 4 K+ ions.
