best_answer

The human cell is called a packaging cell because it contains DNA and the histone proteins present in the nucleus which is small in diameter. In the nucleus, DNA  is wrapped up in such a manner that when stretched and attached end to end forms 2 to 3 metres of DNA. Hence, this arrangement is considered very complex and stores a large  amount of matter in a small unit.
