12th January, Afternoon Session ( 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm)

The last paper of JEE Main was conducted in two shifts on 12th January 2019. First shift timings were 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and second shift timings were 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. In this article, we will discuss a complete analysis of afternoon session paper. The overall level of an exam was moderate and scoring if you prepare well. More questions were based on the class 12th syllabus. As we all know that NTA is conducting JEE main exam, this time paper has been more balanced and providing an equal chance to all students. Our analysis is based on the official question paper provided by National Test Agency and students feedback.

Physics Question Paper Complete  Analysis

Physics Question Paper of the Afternoon session was moderate to difficult. As usual, this section was lengthy and time-consuming. Most of the questions were from current electricity chapter. In this physics, the section contains 9 easy types of questions which were very specific to the NCERT syllabus. If you prepare well then you can score around 25 to 35 only from these 9 easy questions in nearly 12 minutes. After that, there were 14 moderate level Questions and they were based on 2-3 concepts from specific chapter so they contain lengthy calculation to find the solution. marks in physics Questions were from class 11th syllabus and 16 Questions were from the class 12th syllabus.

Chemistry  Question Paper Complete  Analysis

The Chemistry Question Paper for the afternoon session was easy. All the questions were from syllabus and theoretical. NCERT based and Numerical questions were available in the chemistry section. Most of the questions were from the class 12th syllabus. The chemistry section is balanced and scoring. 19 questions were from class 12th syllabus and rest 11 was from the class 11th syllabus.

Mathematics Question Paper Complete  Analysis

Overall mathematic section was moderate to difficult, there were tough questions from the function and easy questions from Conics were available. 60% Questions were from the class 12th syllabus and 40% Syllabus were from the class 11th syllabus. Some questions involved depth knowledge and calculation, most of the questions were from coordinate geometry and calculus.
