A capacitor \mathrm{C_{1}} of capcitance \mathrm{5 \; \mu \mathrm{F}} is charged to a potential of 30 V using a battery. The battery is then removed and the charged capacitor is connected to an uncharged capacitor \mathrm{\mathrm{C}_{2}} of capcitance \mathrm{10\; \mu \mathrm{F}} as shown in figure. When the switch is closed charge flows between the capacitors. At equilibrium, the charge on the capacitor  \mathrm{\mathrm{C}_{2}} is ____________\mathrm{\mu \mathrm{C} \text {. }}

A capacitor  C_1  is charged to a potential of 30 V using a battery

then initial charge on it will be = Q=C_1V =5\times 10^{-6}\times 30=150 \mu \ C

Let charge q flown in circuit

The potential of both will be the same under an equilibrium state
\frac{q }{10}=\frac{150-q}{5}, \quad q=100 \mu \ C

Hence 100 is correct answer
