Centripetal Force and Centrifugal Force -

  1. Centripetal Force-

  • Force acts on the body along the radius and towards the center.

    ?

F=4m\pi^{2}n^{2}r

F=\frac {4m\pi^{2}n^{2}r} {T^{2}}

Where

F = Centripetal force

\omega= Angular velocity

n = frequency

  1. Centrifugal Force

  • It is a fictitious force which has significance only in the rotating frame of reference.

  • It is an Imaginary force due to incorporated effects of inertia.

So,

Force acts on the body along the radius and towards centre.

 F_{c} =\frac{mv^{2}}{r} = \frac{1000*(10)^{2}}{50} = 2000N
