A circular wire of radius 3 cm is cut and bent so as to lie along a circle of radius 48 cm. Find the angle subtended by the wire at the cent
Radius of the circular wire =3 cm.
∴ Length of the circular wire = 2π × 3 = 6π cm [Circumference = 2π r]
Radius of the hoop = 48cm.
Let θ be the angle subtended by the wire at the centre of the hoop. Then,
θ = arc/radius
θ =6π /48 = π/8
