Acceleration of the block, a=\frac{g}{2}=5m/s^2

mass of the block, m=5kg

Let the tension in the string be T.

F.B.D of the block-

\\\ Using\ F_{net}=ma\\ T-mg=ma\\ \Rightarrow T=m(g+a)\\ \Rightarrow T=5\times(10+5)=75N
