Here  \mathrm{2 a=4 \mathrm{~cm}, m=4 \mathrm{JT}^{-1}}  and  \mathrm{r=2 \mathrm{~m}}. Since \mathrm{a \ll r} , the magnetic field at a distance r on the equatorial line is

\mathrm{B_m=\frac{\mu_0 M}{4 \pi r^3}=\frac{4 \pi \times 10^{-7} \times 4}{4 \pi \times(2)^3}=5 \times 10^{-6} \mathrm{~T}}
