As we learn

Longitudinal magnification -

m= \frac{-v^{2}}{u^{2}}

- wherein

Longitudinal magnification is used when object is placed along principal axis.

u = object distance

v = image distance

 u = -30cm , f = -10cm

\Rightarrow \frac{1}{v}=\frac{1}{f}-\frac{1}{u}=\frac{1}{-10}+\frac{1}{30}=-\frac{1}{15}

\therefore v = -15cm

 dv = \large = -\frac{v^{2}}{u^{2}} .du    \large = -\frac{(-15)^{2}}{(-30)^{2}}\large = -\frac{(-15)^{2}}{(-30)^{2}} \cdot 1mm

=0.25mm
