Given that   PA = 1000 tarr

                   VA= 500 ml

                   PB = 800 tarr

                   VB = 1000 ml

PTotal = ?

VTotal = 2000ml

P_{A}V_{A}+P_{B}V_{B}= P_{Total}V_{Total}

P_{Total}= \frac{P_{A}V_{A}+P_{B}V_{B}}{V_{Total}}=\frac{1000\times 500+800\times 1000}{2000}=\frac{1300}{2}=650tarr

Boyle’s Law -

At constant Temp and moles, pressure is inversely proportional to volume of gas.

- wherein

P_{1}V_{1}= P_{2}V_{2}
