Faraday's first law of electrolysis -

The mass of any substance deposited or dissolved at any electrode during electrolysis is directly propotional to the quantity of electricity passed through the solution.

W\alpha\ Q

W = Z I t

Z = mass of electrolyte get deposited

Z = electro chemical equivalent

\\The \:\:reaction \:\:\::\:\:Ni(NO_{3})_{2}\rightarrow Ni^{2+}+2NO_{3}^{-}\\\\\:at\:\:cathode\:\:\:\::Ni^{2+}+2e^{-}\rightarrow Ni

Ni need 2 mole of  e^{-} for 1 mole of  Ni
