Assertion: One mass m_{1}=5kg is situated on a frictionless table; This mass is attached with a second mass  m_{2}=6kg by a string (via frictionless pulley); and the second mass is hanging so acceleration of the hanging mass is 5.34 ms^{-2}

Reason: The acceleration of the second mass is \frac{m_{2}}{m_{1}+m_{2}}g

Option: 1

Assertion is true

Option: 2

Reason is true

Option: 3

Both are false

Option: 4

Assertion and Reason both are true; Reason is the correct explanation for the assertion

Acceleration will be \frac{m_{2}}{m_{1}+m_{2}}g

By putting the mass values

And g=9.81ms^{-2}  you will get 5.34 ms^{-2}
