- wherein

R_{eq}- Equivalent Resistance

 

 

In parallel Grouping -

\frac{1}{R_{eq}}=\frac{1}{R_{1}}+\frac{1}{R_{2}}+\cdot \cdot \cdot +\frac{1}{R_{n}}

-

 

 

So,

V = 6 x i = 2

i=\frac{1}{3}A

i=\frac{2E}{2r+2+6}

   =\frac{2\times 1.5}{2r+8}

  =\frac{1}{3}

=>9=2r+8

=> r=0.5\Omega
