The mass of one mole of a substance in grams is called its molar mass.

- wherein

 Molar mass of water = 18 g mol-1

 

Total moles of N = 0.5 + 2\times 1 = 2.5

Total mass of N = 2.5 \times 14 = 35

Total mass of mixture = 0.5\times 17 + 1\times 164 = 172.5g

\therefore Percentage = \frac{35 \times 100}{172.5} = 20.28\%
