As we learnt in

Distance between parallel planes (vector form ) -

Distance between \vec{r}\cdot \vec{n}= d  and \vec{r}\cdot \vec{n}= d_{1} is given by 

\frac{\left | d_{1} -d\right |}{\vec{n}}

 distance = \frac{\begin{vmatrix} d -1 \\ \end{vmatrix}}{\sqrt{4^{2}+2^{2}+4^{2}}} = 7

\begin{vmatrix} d-1 \end{vmatrix}=7\times 6

d-1= \pm 42

d=43 or d=-41
