l=\left ( 2n+1 \right )\frac{\lambda }{4}    

 

 

 

In tube A,    \lambda _{A}= 2l

In tube B     \lambda _{B}= 4l 

 

\therefore \: \: \: \: \upsilon _{A}= \frac{\nu }{\lambda _{A}}= \frac{\nu }{2l}

\therefore\: \: \: \: \upsilon _{B}= \frac{\nu }{\lambda _{B}}= \frac{\nu }{4l}

\frac{\upsilon _{A}}{\upsilon _{B}}= \frac{2}{1}=2:1
