best_answer

{ }_{92} \mathrm{U}^{238}\rightarrow {}_{82}\mathrm{Pb}^{206}+\mathrm{x\, \, {}_{2}\alpha ^{4}+y\: {}_{-1}\beta ^{0}}

Let \mathrm{x\, \&\, y} be the no.of alpha & beta particles emitted

Comparing reactant & products ,

\mathrm{238= 206+4x+0}
\mathrm{32= 4x}
\mathrm{x= 8\: \rightarrow (1)}

\mathrm{92= 82+2x+y\left ( -1 \right )}
\mathrm{92= 82+16-y}
\mathrm{y= 6\: \rightarrow (2)}

The correct option is (4)
