You must have the application number received while applying for the exam to download JEE Main 2018 admit card. However, in case you forget your application number, JEE Main 2018 gives you the opportunity to retrieve it. In order to recover the application number, you have to follow some basic steps. First you need to visit the official website of JEE Main 2018 and move ahead to the login page. In the login page, you will see a link with the message ‘I can’t access my account’. When you click on this link, you will be redirected to a forgot application number portal. Here, you can see certain fields that are required to be filled with in order to recover your JEE Main application number. The information that you have to fill are your name, mother’s name, father’s name, your date of birth, state of eligibility and security pin (case sensitive) as shown on the computer screen. Once you have entered all the above mentioned details, you will receive your application number of JEE Main 2018 on your registered mobile number.

Once you visit the page, you will notice a link with the message ‘I can’t access my account’. Click on this link and you will redirected to another page that will have a message that says ‘I forgot my Password’. You have to click on this to start with the process of your JEE Main 2018 password recovery. There are three methods to retrieve your password. One is by entering the security question (same as that which was chosen during registration) and answering it. Second method is by entering a verification code sent to your registered mobile number via SMS. The password can also be retrieved using your registered email address. A reset link will be sent via mail, clicking on which, you can change the password.
Once you have both the JEE Main application number 2018 and password with you, you can successfully download your admit card. For downloading JEE Main admit card 2018 with the retrieved application number, you have to follow five simple steps viz., visiting the official site of JEE Main 2018, clicking on the link that says ‘download admit card’ which will redirect you to the download page, filling-in your retrieved application number, date of birth and security pin (as displayed on the screen) as login credentials in the specified fields, downloading the admit card that will be shown on your computer screen as soon as you enter your login credentials and finally taking a printout of your JEE Main admit card 2018. You must not forget to check the admit card for errors before downloading it, and report to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), if you find any.
