\frac{A_{r}}{A_{i}}= \frac{1}{2} \Rightarrow \frac{I_{1}}{I_{2}} = (\frac{1}{2})^{2}

E_{1 }= 1- (\frac{1}{2})^{2}= \frac{3}{4}

E= \frac{3}{4}\times 100= 75 %

Amplitude of reflected wave -

A_{r}= \frac{\left ( V_{2}-V_{1} \right )A_{i}}{\left ( V_{2}+V_{1} \right )}

A_{r}= amplitude of reflected wave

- wherein

V_{1}\; and \; V_{2} are velocity of wave in incident and transmitted wave.

A_{i}= amplitude of incident  wave.
