As we learnt in

Transistor -

Three layered semiconducting device .

NPN or PNP

- wherein

1.    Emitter is heavily doped

2.    collector is moderately doped .

3.    Base is lightly doped & very thin

In npn junction, Emitter-Base is in forward biased. So electron will move from emitter to Base. Base and collector are at reverse bias hence electron will move from Base to covector.

Correct option is 1.

Option 1)

electrons move from base to collector

This is the correct option.

Option 2)

holes move from emitter to base

This is an incorrect option.

Option 3)

electrons move from collector to base

This is an incorrect option.

Option 4)

holes move from base to emitter.

This is an incorrect option.
