Given, 

A atoms form a CCP while B atoms occupy all the Octahedral sites.

Now, A atoms from the opposite faces are removed

So, effective no.of A atoms =4-1

                                            =3

effective no.of B atoms        =4

\therefore \; \text{x = 3}

Thus, answer is 3
