In a triangle PQR, the co-ordinates of the points P and Q are (-2,4) and (4,-2) respectively. If the equation of the perpendicular bisector of PR is 2x-y+2=0, then the centre of the circumcircle of the \Delta PQR is :
Option: 1 \left ( 1,4 \right )
Option: 2 \left ( -1,0 \right )
Option: 3 \left ( -2,-2 \right )

Equation of line PQ is

y+2=\frac{4-(-2)}{-2-4}(x-4)

x+y=2

Slope of perpendicular bisector of PQ is 1 and passes through the mid point of P and Q.

Equation of perpendicular bisector of PQ is

y = x

Solving with 2 x - y +2 = 0 will give circumcenter of triangle PQR

Hence Circumcentre of triangle is (-2,-2).
