We know the colours of some of the transition metal ions.

\mathrm{Sc^{3+}\longrightarrow 3d^{0}\longrightarrow colourless}
\mathrm{Ti^{4+}\longrightarrow 3d^{0}\longrightarrow colourless}
\mathrm{Ti^{3+}\longrightarrow 3d^{1}\longrightarrow purple}
\mathrm{V^{2+}\longrightarrow 3d^{3}\longrightarrow violet}
\mathrm{Hn^{2+}\longrightarrow 3d^{5}\longrightarrow pink}
\mathrm{Cu^{2+}\longrightarrow 3d^{9}\longrightarrow blue}
\mathrm{Zn^{2+}\longrightarrow 3d^{10}\longrightarrow colourless}

So, pair  \mathrm{Sc^{3+}\; and\; Zn^{2+}} are colourless.
Option (1) is correct.
