Junction law at A,

\frac{x-(y+5)}{1}+\frac{x-2}{2}+\frac{x-0}{2}=0 \ldots (1)

Junction law at B,

\frac{y+5-x}{1}+\frac{y-0}{1}+\frac{y-2}{1}=0 ..... (2)

On solving equation (1) and Equation (2)

\begin{aligned} & x=3 \\ & \& y=0 \end{aligned}

\begin{aligned} I_1 & =i_1+i_2 \\ I_1 & =\frac{y-0}{1}+\frac{x-0}{2} \\ & =\frac{0-0}{1}+\frac{3-0}{2} \\ I_1 & =1.5 \mathrm{~A} \end{aligned}
