As we learned in concept

Zero Order Reaction -

Zero order reaction means that the rate of the reaction is proportional to zeroth power of the concentration of reactants

- wherein

R\rightarrow P

Rate=\frac{-d(R)}{dt}=K[R]^{0}=K

t_\frac {1}{2}= time required for half completion of reaction=\frac{a}{2k}

 Initial amount of reactant =a (lets say)

Then , after t_{\frac{1}{2}}, amount left =\frac{a}{2}

Rate = k= \frac{a}{2*50}= \frac{a}{100}

So, amount a will be consumed in \frac{a}{k} time.

=\frac{a}{\frac{a}{100}}

=100 \: \: min

Option 1)

50 min

Incorrect option

Option 2)

100 min

Correct option

Option 3)

200 min

Incorrect option

Option 4)

Infinite time

Incorrect option

For zero order reaction

K=x/t

Here

X= 50

t= 50 min

K= 50/50

    =1

Now for 100% completion

T= x/k

   =100/1

   = 100 min
