A perfect gas at 27 degree C is heated at constant presure at 327 degree C . If original volume of gas at 27 degreeC is the volume at 327 degreeC (in volume ) is.

Explanation:

 P is constant as PV = nRT

V = (nRT/P)

 i.e.   V ∝ T

V1 = V

T1 = 27°C = 300K

T2 = 327°C = 327 + 273 = 600K

(V1/V2) = (T1/T2)

∴ V2 = {(V1 T2)/T1}

= V × {600/300}

 V= 2V
