Torricelli's Theorem / Velocity of Efflux -

In fluid dynamics relating the speed of fluid flowing out of an orifice. 

- wherein

 

 Velocity of efflux v=\sqrt {2gh}

Where h is the height of the free surface of liquid from hole. 

\therefore\ \; \sqrt{2\times 10\times 20}=20\ ms^{-1}
