- wherein

m = mass of a molecule

n = number of molecule /volume

< v2 > = Rms velocity

 

 Force \alpha \frac{\alpha P}{dt} (Rate of change of momentum)

=\frac{mv^{2}}{L}

L is length of container  and v2 is mean square velocity 

v^{2}\alpha\ T

\therefore\ \;F \alpha\ T
