Let the complex number is x+iy, where x will be real part and y will be imaginary part. 

According to the given conditions \rightarrow

x+y = 6 ------ (1)

x = 2 ------ (2)

Solving (1) and (2) we get

x = 4 and y = 2

So, complex number will be 4+2i

\therefore Option (B)

 

Definition of Complex Number -

z=x+iy, x,y\epsilon R  & i2=-1

- wherein

Real part of z = Re (z) = x & Imaginary part of z = Im (z) = y
