As we learned in concept

Definition of work by constant force -

W=FS\cos \Theta

- wherein

The product of  magnitude of force \left ( F \right ) magnitude of displacement \left (S \right ) and cosine of the angle between them  \left (\Theta \right )

 V=\frac{m_{1}V_{1}-m_{2}V_{2}}{m_{1}+m_{2}}

\frac{0.1\times1-0.4\times0.1}{0.5}

=0.12m/s

Distance travelled by combined mass

S=V\times t

=0.12\times 10

1.2m/s

Option 1)

120 m

Option is incorrect

Option 2)

0.12 m

Option is incorrect

Option 3)

12 m

Option is incorrect

Option 4)
