Molar Mass -

The mass of one mole of a substance in grams is called its molar mass.

- wherein

 Molar mass of water = 18 g mol-1

 

 

 Molar mass of benzene = 78g

Number of moles in 39 g = 39/78 = 0.5 moles

Number of Carbon atoms = 6\times 5 = 3 moles
