Parallel Grouping -

 

C_{eq}=C_{1}+C_{2}+\cdots

- wherein

 

 For upper and lower links C_{eq}= \frac{6}{5}\mu F

\therefore Q_{upper}= Q_{lower}= 12\mu C

On closing switch charge on 2\mu F is 10\mu F and that on 3\mu F is 15\mu F.

At a, 

q_{i}= -12+12= 0

q_{f}= 15-10= 5\mu C

\therefore 5\mu C flows from b to a.
