As we learnt

Magnetic behaviour of molecule -

If  all the molecular orbitals in a molecule are doubly occupied, the substance is diamagnetic

- wherein

However if one or more molecular orbital are singly occupied it is paramagnetic e.g. O2

 He{_{2}}^{+}\rightarrow \sigma \left ( 1s \right )^{2}\sigma ^{\ast }\left ( 1s \right )^{1}one\: unpaired\: electron\:

H{_{2}}\rightarrow \sigma \left ( 1s \right )^{2}\sigma ^{\ast }\left ( 1s \right )^{0}no\: unpaired\: electron\:

H{_{2}}^{+}\rightarrow \sigma \left ( 1s \right )^{1}\sigma ^{\ast }\left ( 1s \right )^{0}one\: unpaired\: electron\:

H{_{2}}^{-}\rightarrow \sigma \left ( 1s \right )^{2}\sigma ^{\ast }\left ( 1s \right )^{1}one\: unpaired\: electron\:

Due to absence of unpaired electrons, H{_{2}} will be diamagnetic

Option 1)

He{_{2}}^{+}

This option is incorrect.

Option 3)

H{_{2}}^{+}
