As we have learnt,

Projectile Projected Horizontally -

$t= \sqrt{\frac{2h}{g}}$

$t=$ time of flight

- wherein

$h=$ Hight from which projectile is projected

Let Y is along vertical direction and x-axis is along x-axis, then

$u_y = 0, a_y = g\;and\;s_y = h$

$s_y = u_y t + \frac{1}{2}a_y t^2$

$t = \sqrt{\frac{2h}{g}}$

Since h is same for both, both will reach simultaneously.
