Since the equivalent resistance between \mathrm{P}\, \, \& \, \, \mathrm{Q} is equal to 2 \Omega

\therefore \mathrm{I}=\frac{10}{2}=5 \mathrm{amp} .

Since the current through the ammeter is equal to i/4

\therefore \mathrm{i}_{\mathrm{A}}=\mathrm{i} / 4=5 / 4=1.25 \mathrm{amp}.

\therefore(\mathrm{A})
