The de Broglie wavelengths for an electron and a photon are \lambda_{e}$ and $\lambda_{p} respectively. For the same kinetic energy of electron and photon, which of the following presents the correct relation between the de Broglie wavelengths of two?

Option: 1

\lambda_{\mathrm{p}} \propto \lambda_{e}^{2}

Option: 2

\lambda_{\mathrm{p}} \propto \lambda_{e}

Option: 3

\lambda_{\mathrm{p}} \propto \sqrt{\lambda_{e}}

Option: 4

\lambda_{p} \propto \sqrt{\frac{1}{\lambda_{e}}}

For Photon

\lambda_{p}=\frac{h}{p}=\frac{h c}{E}                 ..........(1)

For electron

\lambda_{e}=\frac{h}{\sqrt{2 m k}}                  ..............(2)

From (1) and (2)

\lambda_{p} \alpha \lambda_{e}^{2}

Hence correct answer is option 1
