\mathrm{P_{initial}=500 \; torr\; and\; P_{2}=250\; torr}

\mathrm{t_{v_{2}}} at \mathrm{P_{2}=4\; min}

Now, \mathrm{t_{1/2}\; at\; P_{i}=\; t_{1/2}\; at\; P_{2}}

So, \mathrm{t_{1/2}} is not dependent on pressure.

Hence, it will be first order reaction  because
