The vertical component of the earth's magnetic field is 6 \times 10^{-5} \mathrm{~T} at any place where the angle of dip is 37^{\circ}. The earth's resultant magnetic field at that place will be (Given \tan 37^{\circ}=\frac{3}{4} )

Option: 1

8 \times 10^{-5} \mathrm{~T}

Option: 2

6 \times 10^{-5} \mathrm{~T}

Option: 3

5 \times 10^{-4} \mathrm{~T}

Option: 4

1 \times 10^{-4} \mathrm{~T}

\mathrm{\delta =37^{\circ} }

\mathrm{B_V =6 \times 10^{-5} \mathrm{~T} }

\mathrm{\sin \delta =\frac{B_V}{B} }

\mathrm{B=\frac{B_V}{\sin \delta }=\frac{6 \times 10^{-5}}{3 / 5}}

\mathrm{B=1\times 10^{-4}T}

Hence 4 is correct option.
