current is induced in the loop in the anti-clockwise direction
current is induced in the loop in the clockwise direction

Due to change in the shape of the loop, the magnetic flux lined with the loop increases. Hence, current is induced in the loop in such a direction that it opposes the increases in flux. Therefore, induced current flows in
the anticlockwise direction.
