Two balls of mass m_1 \: \: and\: \: m_2  attached to a string at a distance  X  and 2X  from one end . The string with masses is then moved in a horizontal circle with the constant angular speed \omega . What is the ratio of T_1 \: \: and\: \: T_2 \: \: \\ i.e \left [ \frac{T_1}{T_2} \right ]

 where T_1\ and \ T_2 \ represents\ the\ tension \ as \ shown \ in \ figure

Option: 1

\frac{2m_2+m_1}{2m_2}

Option: 2

\frac{m_1+m_2}{m_2}

Option: 3

\frac{2m_1+m_2}{2m_1}

Option: 4

\frac{m_1+m_2}{2m_2}

As we have learned

Centrifugal Force -

It is an Imaginary force due to incoporated effects of inertia.

- wherein

It is a fictitious force wich has significance only in rotating frame of reference.

T_1 = T_2 + m_1 w^2 X \: \: \: \: \: \: T_2 = m_2 w^2 (2X ) .......(1)

from equation

T_1 = m_1 w^2 X+ m_2 w^2 (2X )

\frac{T_1}{T_2}=\frac{w^2 X [ 2m_2 + m_1 ]}{2w^2X m_2 }

\frac{T_1}{T_2 } = \frac{2m_2+m_1}{2m_2}
