Following completion of the online registration of JEE Main 2018, the admit card will be made available by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The admit card of JEE Main 2018 will be issued online for you to download in the second week of March, 2018. You need to keep your JEE Main 2018 application number and date of birth ready before downloading the admit card. In order to download the admit card, you need to follow five easy steps such as visiting the JEE Main 2018 official website, clicking on the ‘download admit card’ link to navigate to the admit card download page, entering your application number, date of birth and security pin (as shown on screen) as login credentials, click on the option to download JEE Main 2018 admit card displayed on your screen and finally downloading the admit card and taking a printout of the same.

You must keep in mind that once you have downloaded the admit card of JEE Main 2018, you have to check the document to make sure that there are no mistakes in the details provided in it. While checking the admit card, you will find two kinds of information available in it - exam details and personal details. The admit card will comprise exam related details such as JEE Main centre number, main exam centre, course, exam roll number, date of entrance test, paper, timings, medium of question paper, application number, state of eligibility, your photograph and signature. Besides these information, you have to check your personal information such as your name, father’s name, address, locality, city/town/village, district, state, pincode, email id and mobile number.

The admit card of JEE Main 2018 will carry significant guidelines regarding the entrance test that you must read and follow accordingly. Keeping these guidelines in mind will help you stay better prepared at the time of examination and polish your efficiency level as well. One of the most important guideline is carrying the admit card with you at the JEE Main exam venue. You must produce the admit card at the examination venue since you will not be allowed to write the test without the valid admit card. Some important guidelines that will be mentioned in the admit card are using a black ball point pen to mark your response in the OMR sheet, reaching the exam centre by 7 a.m. for Paper I and by 12.45 p.m. for Paper II, reaching the exam centre on time as you will not be allowed to enter the venue once the test has begun.
